IT ALL STARTED WITH A QUESTION:
What happens when you bring together people who want to move things forward - with data, bold ideas and a shared vision of the future?

The answer came on May 23, 2025, at the very first SonoBeacon Vision Day!

THE BEGINNING: CHARTING A NEW COURSE

When we began planning this event, we knew we did not want a traditional format. No endless slides. No formal speeches that fade away the next day.

We wanted something meaningful. A space, where partners, municipalities, innovators and experts could connect and co-create solutions - hands-on, honest and inspired.

And so we opened our doors. In Wismar, our home base at the Baltic Sea.

THE DAY: WHEN VISION MEETS REALITY

From the first coffee to the final toast, the atmosphere was charged with curiosity and momentum.

Through keynotes, interactive sessions and real-time demos, the focus quickly shifted from technology to impact:

How can data help reduce waiting times in public transport?
What does privacy-first mobility analysis look like?
And how do we turn movement patterns into better decisions?

Ideas were exchanged, challenged and taken further.

People from different sectors found a common language - one that puts people at the center and uses data to make life more efficient, inclusive and future-ready.

THE MOMENT: CONNECTION AT SEA

As the sun set over the harbor, we started our cruise for Captain's Dinner on an electric ship.

With salty air and a view of Wismar's skyline, something shifted:

What had begun as an event turned into true community. Conversations deepened and new collaborations were born.

THE OUTLOOK: MORE THAN A MOMENT

The SonoBeacon Vision Day was not the end of a journey - it was the beginning.

A launchpad for new partnerships, shared experiments and the belief that motion data can shape smarter, more livable spaces.

We are proud of what started here. And we are just getting going.
